This is a measure of how much of pain this project might be.

OVERVIEW

Applying a penetrating concrete sealer is even easier on new concrete. You can even it apply some sealers during the curing process. The best part is, you don’t have to go through the cleaning process!

In this video, Chris will apply a siliconate sealer to concrete that was poured within the week. This was an unplanned video in the series, but the opportunity presented itself so we had to take advantage of it. Be sure to check out the first three videos if you missed them:

Part 2 – Choosing a Concrete Sealer (https://youtu.be/pXGfoRfoYBk)

Part 3 – Sealing Your Concrete (https://youtu.be/XtXopmXJ3mo)

*Bonus – Sealing New Concrete* Be sure to carefully follow the directions of the sealer you intend to apply. Application instructions vary by manufacturer. Toolbox DIY has no affiliation with the product or manufacturer of the sealer used in this video.

Show Notes:

Some sealers can be applied during the curing process of new concrete. Be sure to choose a sealer suitable for this type of application.

In this video, Chris demonstrates applying sealer to concrete that was poured seven days ago. The application is pretty much the same as what was demonstrated in Part 3, but Chris uses a garden sprayer instead of a paint roller.
